Man, I cannot wait for this to get started. I’ve also caught up on Torchwood: Miracle Day, and Doctor Who is rolling along as well, and Warehouse 13. This may well be the golden age.

Are you seriously enjoying Torchwood: Miracle Day? Everything is so drawn out and anything remotely sci-fi is pounded into the ground by too many ‘what’s that?’ infodumps.
I’ll admit that as a whole, it was a flawed series (and entirely too much of the gaysex for its own sake)
But it’s Captain Jack! I’m basically was watching hungry for a connection to the broader Whovian universe. That also was lacking, aside from a admittedly hilarious one-liner by Jack full of Doctoresque gibberish. Gwen rightly called Jack on it and he had the good grace to laugh. If the whole series was just a setup for that moment, I guess it wasn’t a total waste.
I’m damning by faint praise here. But I will say unequivocally that SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS Rex becoming Immortal 2 was all kinds of awesome. That was also telegraphed far ahead, but still. Awesome.
(With the caveat that Rex better show up in Doctor Who)
hmmm…. maybe Jack isn’t the Face of Boe after all. Then again, the Face of Boe actually died, so maybe Jack never was.
We loved Sherlock so much. Can’t wait for the new episodes!
