Put on these glasses!
Now go watch “Sugar, a little snowfairy”, you #%@(&)&@%#!
…that’s how it went…
I’ve never seen that film. Maybe I should pick it up. Roddy Piper is the coolest.
Heh, it’s not exactly fine cinema, but it’s fun. Plus, it’s got one of the great 80s quotable lines (chewing bubblegum and kicking a$$, etc…)
I miss John Carpenter. Guy hasn’t made a decent movie in at least 10 years, if not longer. Supposedly his Masters of Horror episode is pretty good, maybe I’ll check it out.
I’ve never seen that movie, although I’ve seen that clip many times. I guess I need to watch it – it might be cheese, but Keith David is one of my favorite actors anyway.
I never realized that SDB was that brutal, or persistent, though.
I’m a real badass, I am… (Yeah, right)
I still haven’t seen the movie either, but I think now that Ramadan is almost over I am going to indulge in it (after I finish off Riddick and Bourne). I just love Roddy’s insane persistence. From what I gather of the plot, it makes sense, but coming at the clip cold the first time I was struck by how surreal it was. Taken as a stand alone clip without the context of the plot, it’s almost performance art. You could label it “Reason” and consider yourself very clever. I’m tempted to write a spoof post under my Art category, “interpreting” it.
