I have a toon with my own name: Dawood, a Tauren Druid. Right now I am going feral spec for dps/tanking, but would like to make my offspec as resto.

Shamus July 21, 2010 at 8:27 pm

I’m leveling “Andpotatoes”, but he’s only just dinged 7. Tauren warrior.

Tauren is a fun race, but their starting area is criminal. The levels 1-7 can be done in about the quarter of the time in the Human area. So much tedious hiking.

Might roll a Belf next.

Anachronda July 21, 2010 at 9:18 pm

My DK, Thwacktress: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Blackhand&cn=Thwacktress

She’ll be doing mining/herbing once I get her out of the starting area.

My other toons, Clawedette (LW/Skinning) and Orcmart (Mining/Tailoring) won’t show up on the armory until they’re level 10.

Otaku Kun July 21, 2010 at 9:28 pm

My main is Aelasha, a belf paladin who is a miner/herbalist (trying to cash in, too :) . I’ve specced her as retribution for now (faster leveling) but I’ll convert her to tank spec (forgot the name) after she gets to the 40s.

My alt is Mmiselle, who is the Guild Master toon (or “Den Mother” in the HR lingo :) This one does classic mage-related professions: tailoring and enchanting. Figure it’s better to be self-sufficient on gear that way.

btw Shamus, just look for either my toons or Dawood’s next you are online so we can get you added in. I’ll promote you once you’re in.

S3&B

I gots 2 toons, hoping to powerlevel em if I can mail heirloom gear over to them:

Hupatia, f undead priest (sitting on that name for Hypatia if she rolls, incidentally)
Qahwah, f troll shaman

you can realid me if you sent me ingame mail with your email.

Dawood July 22, 2010 at 5:03 am

Heirloom gear only works if your toon is on the same server – it’s not truly “Bind to Account”, which is something I recently (sadly) found out… See you in-game I hope!

i transferred one of my few hordie toons — 41 tauren resto druid and reformed twink. her name is Kanå because she is mechanically inclined like the real river fish. she is a goblin engineer w/mining.
im in process of transferring an 80 holy/disp priest w/tailoring herb. Her name will be some variant of Rakka, depending on what is taken, or mebbe a variant of Falling.
before i switch over to horde ima load up on alliance pets to sell in AH.
i just can’t bear to make my main resto druid into a fugly tauren. she has the best gear, but mebbe after Cata when she could become a beautiful troll like Willow.
:)

Anachronda July 22, 2010 at 2:43 pm

Are we keeping track of who invited whom (so we know whom to blame) anywhere? I had Snugglybunny invite Qahwah.

fledgling otaku July 22, 2010 at 2:59 pm

no need – growth is good, and i don’t think we are anywhere near the size where disruptive types are likely to join. Maybe I will limit the bank access to people who are above minimal membership level, though, just to give people a shake-in period (and to discouurage ninja-ing). We dont have much in the bank right now but that will change – I plan on stocking it with every green i get that I cant use, instead of resorting to AH, since my main has good income-producing professions (herbing and mining like you do).

matoko_chan July 22, 2010 at 9:09 pm

My DK is hyohko (ice lake) because she will be part frost.

matoko_chan July 22, 2010 at 9:12 pm

im going to buy a lot of alli pets and sell them in hordie AH.
that money is for the guild bank. Rakka is a 450 tailor….i can make cloth armors for you clothy diers.

Dawood July 22, 2010 at 11:43 pm

What about bags? :)

matoko_chan July 22, 2010 at 11:48 pm

i can make all bags
even glacier and the 32 slot herb bag
;)
Kanå is a goblin engineer….because engineering was good for twinks.
she was a 39 bracket twink.
/sigh

Willow July 23, 2010 at 11:08 am

My main is Elonwy, lvl 80 troll hunter, the most undergeared under-repped 80 in Azeroth. But she only dinged a few days ago, so I have an excuse. I also haven’t really leveled either of her professions (skinning/leatherworking).

Anachronda July 23, 2010 at 12:26 pm

Don’t mean to come across as a Topper McTopsalot, but wow-heroes.com shows Elonwy’s gear score as 1224. My main on Icecrown, Smarmette, rates a mere 1049.

Neener, neener, neener!

matoko_chan July 23, 2010 at 6:16 pm

why are you guys so low gearscored?
don’t you do battlegrounds? you can get good enough pvp gear with honor to start gettin into randoms and VoA.
Rakka is 2982 just wid badge gear and VoA an’ pvp gear….green up thru ruby sanctum.

Anachronda July 24, 2010 at 12:12 am

Speaking only for myself, it’s because I’m pretty boring. I like to spend a nice, quiet evening killing skinnables. No bgs, no raids for me. Just wandering around killing skinnables. With a bit of the old mining and herbing tossed in as well, of course.

Anachronda July 24, 2010 at 3:11 pm

Orcmart has emerged from the darkness of the noob. Here’s her armory page:
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Blackhand&cn=Orcmart

Clawedette is right behind her in the journey of discovery:

matoko_chan July 24, 2010 at 3:18 pm

lawl….don’t apolo….there are a thousand thousand ways to play the Game.
an i see Willow is barely 80, my bad.
Willow, i cannot wait for PPP and i to introduce you to the storied delights of Wintergrasp.
For the Horde!

Dawood August 2, 2010 at 1:09 am

Hey guys, I don’t think I am going to have much game time in the near future, so just giving a heads up. Ramadan is around the corner for a start, but outside of that my work hours have just been changed so I won’t be online the same time as I have been usually. Anyways, just letting you all know (sorry if this isn’t the correct place to post it, not sure where it should go). :)

Otakun August 10, 2010 at 1:25 pm

Ditto for me – I just spent a week on vacation and now have to juggle WoW with Ramadan – the usual time I’d be online, is now overlapping with the only real guaranteed sleep time I’ll have all day :) so let’s see :P

I need to log in and get the next bank tab setup though..

Dawood September 19, 2010 at 8:22 pm

Is anyone still playing? I am on sporadically for the moment, but will try to level my toon up. I’ve been doing a lot of PvP on my main toon on another server, so hopefully once this guy gets stronger I can spec him as tank/heals or something like that.

Otaku Kun September 19, 2010 at 10:26 pm

I was pretty much totally offline for Ramadan and right now I still havent had a chance to log in lately, mainly because I have a grant application due in October. But when thats in, I am gonna try and get my alts leveled faster. My main on Staghelm is at 75 so i really want to hit 80 with him too, so Aelasha (my pally in our guild) has been neglected.

Also, my main gaming PC is dead. Totally screwed. Its netbook play or nothing :P So I really am gonna need to bulid my new box sooner than later.

all in all, I am glad the guild runs itself :) but the sooner we get our alts to higher level the better.

Dawood September 21, 2010 at 4:24 am

Awesome, hope to see you, Willow and the others around sometime then. :)

Anachronda September 27, 2010 at 12:35 am

Sure, I quit checking for a bit and there’s a flurry of posts.

I try to make a daily Thorium run. Since I’m playing four servers at the moment, that’s pretty much all I do any more. Suits me fine, since I’m boring.

You’ve had the money for the fourth bank tab for quite some time.
