Goblins? Goblins?

But what about the Kobolds? Won’t somebody think about the Kobolds?

What ever happened to my little dog-like whipping posts that used to slice so nicely with sword or scimitar? Now we only have scaly lizards that are nowhere near as fun to slash in to itty-bitty bits. Besides, scales tend to dull the tender edge of a fine blade and offer none of the blood wiping properties of fur.

Kobolds of the newer editions aren’t even worth pulling out the good ol’ backup mace kept (lovingly) in the bottom of the backpack for the occasional outcropping of over zealous skeletons. I call that mace, “Smashy.”
