Today’s XKCD gets me thinking, as always, about Hitchhiker’s Guide:

One of the nice aspects of this cartoon is that even if something like that was true, and we were inside the simulation, we’d never know that it was absurdly slow. Our perception of time is part of the simulation.
Heh, that’s true. I wonder how the universal constants are encoded? Rock diameter?
