I got a little bored with Sayonara Zetsubu Sensei, so I watched the first episode of Denmo Coil, and was wowed. I love it. It’s like a wierd mix of Totoro, Serial Experiments Lain, and Haibane Renmei. What a fun show! The OP was also particularly good. I can see this one holding my interest.

This has been one of my most favorite series in some time. I’m sure you’d enjoy it. There’s more I would say, but really, I should wait until you’re done watching the series all the way through before I say more…
I am rewatching it now, and I’m spotting quite a few things I did not noticed (nor should I have noticed) the first time.
That does look like a good find. Is there any word about someone picking it up for a dub? I personally cannot stand subs. For me, Anime is just too visual of a media to be distracted by writing on the screen.
I’m still recovering from Mushi Shi as well. Dang, I hope that there is a second season of that in the works.
Dennou Coil will be the third new title in my want list. The other two currently being Claymore & Wolf and Spice.
After finishing this series, I’ve been finding many of leading edges of things they use in 2026 (in DC). A type of glasses tech (http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2008-01/uow-clw011708.php) and some of the personal interfaces, such as the encode (http://www.physorg.com/news122819670.html).
