		<description>Cool, I made the blog.  :)  I agree it is closer to a reward for a good life than a suicide, but the celebration would be easier if the Haibane told other Haibane what was about to happen.  Kuu knew, but tradition forbade her from telling other Haibane even good-bye.  She told the bartender good-bye as well as the cat, but not those closest and dearest to her.  The reaction of the other Haibane when the learned what was happening was one of desperation.  They knew Kuu had to leave, but they wanted a chance to say good-bye.  The tradition of silence of the Day of Flight's rite magnifies the Haibanes' sense of loss.</description>
